Demonstration of operational testing of tunnel boring machine for MRT Orange Line (East Section) Project: Contract 3

On 28th June 2018, there was a demonstration of operational testing of the tunnel boring machine for the MRT Orange Line (East Section) Project: Contract 3 Underground Civil Work (Hua Mak - Khlong Ban Ma Section). The visiting team led by MRTA deputy governor, MRTA staff and PMCSC2 advisors visited the MRP Engineering Factory, Chonburi, where Mr. Prakin Arunotong, Senior Vice President MRT Business Unit of ITD also welcomed them to the event.

ABOUT ITD

Italian-Thai Development Corporation Limited (ITD) on 15 August 1958 with an initial registered capital of 2 million Baht.

The company grew steadily and became publicly listed in the Stock Exchange of Thailand in 1994 with a registered capital of 2,500 million Baht and with the name changed to Italian-Thai Development Public Company Limited. Further growth to this date has brought the registered capital of the company up to 6,335.81 million Baht with 5,279.84 million Baht paid up.

OUR CAPABILITIES

Suvarnabhumi International Airport, currently under construction at Nong Ngu Hao in Samut Prakarn Province, about 25 km east of Bangkok, is the most recent undertaken by ITD in a long history of airport works dating back to 1963. With an initial capacity of 45 million passengers per year, this is the largest green-field site airport currently under construction in the world.
