Mumbai Metro Subway Tunnel Construction Project
ITD Cementation India Limited (ITD Cem), an ITD subsidiary in India. Operator of construction "Tunnel construction project Mumbai Metro Line3 – UGC04 Metro Line3 – UGC04, Mumbai, India” a distance of 11 km and the construction of 3 stations. ITD Cem is in a joint venture with Continental Engineering Corporation and TATA Project Limited called CEC-ITD Cem-TPLJV. The project has progressed to 67% complete until December 2020.
On December 16, 2020, the last underground tunnel boring head has penetrated the Dadar station and completed the entire tunnel construction. The final tunnel drilling breakthrough of the Mumbai Metro Line 3 Krishna was honoured by a visit from various Indian departments including Mr. Ranjeet Singh Deol - M.D., Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation (MMRC), Mr.S K Gupta - Director Projects MMRC and Thailand team representatives Mr. Thanawat Sirikul - Consul General in Mumbai, Mr. Nattaphon Sudbantad - Director of Thailand Board of Investment, Mr. Pongpun Pengpao - Foreign Trade Promotion Office, Ms. Pimpingfah Areeya - Office of Tourism in Mumbai, Ms. Duangruetai Sriwarom - Manager of Krungthai Bank in Mumbai Branch, along with ITD Cem management Mr. Santi Chongkongka - Executive Vice Chairman of ITD Cem, Mr. Witawat Kunapongsiri - Project Director, Mr. AK Rai - Deputy Project Director of CEC-ITD Cem-TPL JV.
