Activities ITD's objectives are met with a dedicated workforce whose wide experience allows efficient construction of civil and infrastructure projects in all sectors of industry. ITD has a skilled workforce (at December 2004) of over 22,077 employees including 1,102 qualified engineers. An experienced in-house training division provides continuation training in safety and construction skills.

To meet advancing technological challenges, ITD establishes and maintains relationships with a wide variety of international consulting, construction and manufacturing companies whose expertise supplement and augment the capabilities of ITD. Large construction projects are heavily dependent on having the right construction equipment for the task. ITD owns and maintains an extensive inventory of specialised and general construction equipment ranging from heavy lift crane barges and pile driving pontoons for marine works, through elevated structure launching systems, to tower cranes for high-rise buildings, down to specialised hand tools. Most of the equipment is maintained by ITD's Maintenance Workshops. With over 45 years experience, the completion of more than 1,300 projects and impressive growth over the last 5 years, ITD and the Group have the strength and depth ready to serve their clients' needs throughout Southeast Asia and beyond. |
